About the UPPAbaby Vista V3 Convertible Stroller
The UPPAbaby Vista V3 is a full-size convertible stroller built to grow with your family. On its own it's a single stroller with a reversible toddler seat rated from 3 months up to 50 lbs and 40 inches tall. It can be used from birth with UPPAbaby's bassinet or Infant SnugSeat, and with the RumbleSeat and PiggyBack accessories it expands to carry up to three children.
FlexRide suspension is designed to soak up bumps, the seat reclines one-handed through multiple positions, and the extendable, water-repellent canopy offers UPF 50+ protection. Underneath, the extra-large, easy-access basket is rated for up to 30 lbs.
It folds in one step, with or without the seat attached, and stands on its own when folded. The frame and seat together weigh 27.6 lbs and measure 36.5 x 25.7 x 39.5 inches open. UPPAbaby lists the stroller as GREENGUARD Gold certified for low chemical emissions. It's a good match for families planning on more than one child, or for anyone who wants a roomy, full-featured stroller for daily walks.
What reviewers say
Reviewers and parents praise the Vista V3 for responsive, easy steering, a very large basket, solid build quality and the flexibility to grow from one child to three. Opinions on the ride differ: Babylist's editor found it handled cracked sidewalks and gravel with ease, while BabyGearLab's testers found the suspension on the stiff side. The common drawbacks are its size and weight, a bulky fold that's awkward for frequent trunk loading, and a high price that climbs further with accessories.
Pros
- Smooth, responsive steering on pavement and rougher ground
- Huge basket that fits large diaper bags
- Grows from one child to up to three with add-ons
- Solid build quality and a large UPF 50+ canopy
Cons
- Heavy, with a large, bulky fold
- Expensive, and accessories add to the cost
- Bigger than many single-child families need
