How Store Credit & Weekly Payments Work
Last updated: Oct 9, 2026
At PAPA YES, you shop using store credit held in your account. This page explains how it works in plain English. It's a summary: the full rules are in our Terms & Conditions and, for weekly payments, in the agreement you receive when you set up your plan.
The basics
- Joining is free. Your account shows your store credit balance and your orders.
- We don't take card payments on our website. All real-money payments are handled outside our website by our payments partner.
- Store credit is added when you set up a weekly payment plan. You set up the plan with our payments partner, and the store credit is added to your account.
- You pay for orders with store credit. An order can't be more than the store credit you have available.
Reading our prices
Each product shows:
- the weekly amount;
- the number of weeks; and
- the total price, which is the amount of store credit the order will use.
If a product is on sale, you'll see the regular price crossed out next to the sale price. Every sale has an end date.
Your weekly payment plan
You set up your weekly payment plan with our payments partner. When you do, you'll receive an agreement that sets out its terms, including:
- the amount of each weekly payment and how many payments there are;
- the total you'll pay;
- when and how payments are taken;
- what happens if a payment is late or missed, including any fees; and
- your rights, including any right to pay early or to cancel.
Please read the agreement carefully before you agree to it, and keep a copy. It's the document that governs your weekly payments, so if anything on our website is different, the agreement applies. If you have questions about it, ask us through our contact form before you agree.
Using your store credit
- Your available balance is shown in your account.
- When you place an order, the total price is taken from your store credit.
- You can't place an order for more than your available store credit.
- Any store credit you don't use stays in your account for future orders.
Cancellations and refunds
- You can cancel an order before it's dispatched, and the store credit you used is returned to your account.
- If we have to cancel an order, for example because an item is out of stock, the store credit used is returned to your account.
- Approved returns are refunded as store credit to your account. See Returns & Refunds.
Promotional and referral credit
We sometimes add store credit as a promotion, or as a reward under our Refer-a-Friend Terms. This kind of credit may have an expiry date. If it does, we'll tell you when it's added.
Things to know about store credit
- Store credit doesn't expire unless we tell you otherwise when it's added.
- It can only be used on PAPA YES.
- It has no cash value and can't be transferred, sold or exchanged for cash, except where the law requires.
If you're finding payments hard
If you think you might miss a weekly payment, check your agreement and get in touch as early as you can through our contact form. We'll explain your options or help you reach our payments partner.
Optional loan offers are separate
You may also see optional loan offers from third-party lenders on our website. These are separate from store credit and weekly payment plans. PAPA YES doesn't make loans and isn't a lender. Our Privacy Notice explains how loan applications are handled.
