About the PetSafe ScoopFree SmartSpin Self-Cleaning Litter Box
The PetSafe ScoopFree SmartSpin is a self-cleaning litter box built around a rotating drum. Once it senses that your cat has safely left, it quietly turns to sift clumps out of the litter and into a sealed 6-liter waste drawer that holds up to about two weeks of waste. The sealed drawer and the included deodorizers work together to keep odors contained.
The PetSafe Pet Companion app (2.4GHz Wi-Fi required) shows litter box visits and weight updates for your cat, while the control panel on the unit handles on-demand cleaning, a child lock, weight-change detection and drawer status. The entry sits 12 inches off the floor, the dome is designed for cats up to 25 lbs, and the smooth interior helps keep litter from sticking. When it needs a deeper clean, it comes apart for a wipe-down. It works with any litter, though PetSafe recommends a premium clumping litter.
It suits single- and multi-cat homes that want a fresh bed of litter after every visit. A litter mat, four deodorizers and 50 waste bin liners come in the box.
