About the SodaStream Art Sparkling Water Maker Bundle
The SodaStream Art turns tap water into sparkling water at home using a retro-inspired manual lever instead of buttons. Because it is cordless and needs no plug, it can sit anywhere on the counter. Press the lever a little for light bubbles or more for a bolder fizz, so you decide how sparkling each bottle gets.
The Art uses SodaStream's Quick Connect CO2 cylinders, which click into place in one motion, and each cylinder carbonates up to 60 liters of water. Bottles lock in with SnapLock, and the 1-liter carbonating bottles are dishwasher safe. Drink it plain or mix in SodaStream and Pepsi flavor syrups to make your own sodas and flavored seltzers.
It suits households that go through a lot of seltzer and want to cut back on buying bottled and canned drinks, and anyone who likes a hands-on, retro-styled appliance.
What reviewers say
Reviewers like the Art's retro look and the satisfying manual lever, which makes it easy to dial in the amount of fizz, and they appreciate that it needs no power. Downsides mentioned include its height, which can be too tall for some under-cabinet spaces, compatibility with plastic bottles only rather than SodaStream's glass carafes, and some trial and error to get carbonation just right.
Pros
- Easy, adjustable carbonation
- No electricity required
- Quick Connect cylinders are simple to swap
- Eye-catching retro design
Cons
- Tall for some under-cabinet spaces
- Works with plastic bottles only, not the glass carafe
- Takes some trial and error to get the fizz right
