About the Dyson Airwrap i.d. Multi-Styler and Dryer – Straight+Wavy
The Dyson Airwrap i.d. Straight+Wavy is a connected multi-styler that dries, curls, waves, smooths and adds volume from a single base unit. Instead of pressing hair against a very hot surface, it uses Dyson's Coanda airflow to wrap sections of hair around the barrel, and its intelligent heat control keeps temperatures below 302°F.
The big difference from earlier Airwraps is Bluetooth pairing with the MyDyson app. You answer a short quiz about your hair, and the app builds an i.d. curl sequence that automatically times the wrap, style and cold-shot stages each time you press the button. The app can also lower the heat for a sensitive scalp, show your live settings and tell you when it's time for maintenance.
The Straight+Wavy kit is aimed at straight and wavy hair. It includes Dyson's tapered Conical barrel for styling closer to the root, a 1.6-inch long barrel, a Fast dryer, a 2-in-1 Dryer+Flyaway smoother and a large round volumizing brush, all stored in a presentation case. It suits anyone who wants several styling tools in one device and likes the idea of app-guided curls.
