About the reMarkable Paper Pro 11.8-inch Color E Ink Paper Tablet (64GB)
The reMarkable Paper Pro is a digital paper tablet built around reMarkable's Canvas Color display, a color E Ink screen. It is aimed at people who want a dedicated device for notes and documents rather than another all-purpose tablet.
The 11.8-inch screen gives you a generous, notebook-sized page, and 64GB of storage leaves plenty of room for notebooks and files. Because the display is color E Ink, your pages are not limited to black and white.
It suits students, professionals, writers and anyone who wants to bring their paper notebooks and documents together on a single device.
What reviewers say
TechRadar, Tom's Guide, Digital Trends and Gear Diary praise the Paper Pro's color E Ink screen, its new built-in reading light and a writing feel with just the right amount of friction. Common criticisms are a high price that climbs further with accessories, deliberately simple software with limited apps and file support, some lag when drawing or navigating, and colors that look muted next to an LCD tablet.
Pros
- Color E Ink screen for highlighting and sketching in color
- Built-in front light for reading in the dark
- Pleasant, paper-like writing feel
Cons
- Expensive, and accessories add up quickly
- Software is basic, with limited apps and file support
- Noticeable lag at times and muted colors
