About the Blink Outdoor 4 Wireless Smart Security Camera – 5-Camera System
Blink Outdoor 4 is a wire-free, battery-powered security camera, and this system includes five cameras plus a Sync Module Core to connect them. The cameras run on AA lithium batteries (10 included), with up to two years of battery life, so you can mount them around your home without running power cables.
In the Blink app you get 1080p HD live view, infrared night vision and two-way audio, so you can see and speak to whoever is outside. Dual-zone enhanced motion detection is designed to alert you faster, and person detection is available with an optional Blink Subscription Plan (sold separately). Each camera has a 143-degree diagonal field of view and is built for outdoor use, with an operating range of -4°F to 113°F.
Storage works a little differently with this kit: the Sync Module Core does not offer local storage, so clips are saved to the cloud with a Blink Subscription Plan, which includes a free 30-day trial. Local backup is possible with a Sync Module XR and microSD card or a Sync Module 2 and USB drive, sold separately. The system also works with Alexa for voice control and multi-camera live view.
