About the Waterpik Aquarius Professional Water Flosser
The Waterpik Aquarius Professional is a countertop water flosser that uses a pulsing stream of water to clean between teeth and along the gumline. It has a compact, contemporary design and a large 22 oz reservoir with a wide opening.
Ten pressure settings go up to 100 psi, and there are two modes: Floss for everyday cleaning and Hydro-Pulse Massage for the gums. An on/off water control sits on the handle, an LED panel shows your settings, and a one-minute timer with a 30-second pacer helps you cover your whole mouth. Seven flossing tips come in the box along with a case to store them, and it also supports the TC-100E tongue cleaner tip.
Waterpik notes it is accepted by the American Dental Association. It's a good fit for households that want a full-size flosser, including people with braces, implants or crowns. It's corded and runs on 120V power, so you'll need an outlet near the sink.
What reviewers say
Electric Teeth names the Aquarius its favorite countertop water flosser, citing the compact footprint, stylish design, wide range of pressure settings and easy-to-control rotating tip, and reviewers generally credit it with a thorough clean. Common gripes are that it's louder than Waterpik's quiet-running claims suggest, it has to be plugged in near the sink, and it costs a little more than some rivals.
Pros
- Thorough cleaning with 10 pressure settings
- Compact countertop footprint
- Rotating tip is easy to control
- Plenty of tips included
Cons
- Louder than the marketing suggests
- Needs a nearby outlet (no battery)
- A little pricier than some rivals
