About the Logitech G733 LIGHTSPEED Wireless RGB Gaming Headset
The Logitech G733 LIGHTSPEED is a wireless gaming headset made to stay light and comfortable through long sessions. It connects over Logitech's 2.4 GHz LIGHTSPEED wireless with a range of up to 20 m, and a charge is rated for up to 29 hours. It is listed as compatible with PC and PlayStation 4.
Inside are 40 mm PRO-G drivers with surround sound support. A detachable cardioid boom microphone uses Blue VO!CE technology for voice chat. Memory foam earpads and an adjustable suspension headband help with comfort, and the headset weighs 278 g.
LIGHTSYNC RGB lighting on the front of the headset can be set to any of 16.8 million colors to match your setup, and reversible suspension straps and color accessories are available separately. It suits PC and PlayStation players who want a cable-free headset with long battery life and a bit of personality.
What reviewers say
Reviewers like the G733 for its light, comfortable fit, playful design and long battery life, and its companion software allows plenty of customization. Opinions on the sound and microphone are more mixed: some find the audio a little light on bass and the mic clear but not very natural. It connects only through its USB receiver, so there is no Bluetooth or Xbox support.
Pros
- Lightweight and comfortable for long sessions
- Long battery life
- Highly customizable through Logitech's software
- Colorful design with RGB lighting
Cons
- No Bluetooth; works through the USB receiver with PC and PlayStation, not Xbox
- Sound and mic quality draw mixed opinions
- Lighting profiles need the software, with no onboard memory
