About the Google Pixel 11 Pro 512GB – Unlocked, Canyon

The Pixel 11 Pro is the smaller of Google's two 2026 Pro phones. It has a 6.3-inch Super Actua LTPO OLED display (1280 x 2856) that runs at 1 to 120Hz and reaches up to 3,600 nits peak brightness, covered by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 with an anti-scratch coating. It measures 152.7 x 71.9 x 8.4 mm and weighs 204 g. This is the 512GB model, which comes with 16GB of RAM, in the Canyon color.

It runs on Google's Tensor G6 chip with the Titan M3 security chip. The rear cameras are a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide with Macro Focus and a 48MP 5x telephoto, with Pro Zoom up to 120x. The front camera is 42MP with autofocus. Video records at up to 4K 60fps, or 8K 30fps with Video Boost. New camera modes include Magic Capture, which records a scene and picks out photos and short clips, and Instant Night Sight for quicker low-light shots. HiLight, a set of LED lights around the rear flash, glows for incoming calls and when you talk to Gemini, so you can see them with the phone face down.

The battery is 4,850mAh (typical), and Google quotes more than 30 hours of battery life. Wired charging reaches up to 55% in about 30 minutes with a 30W USB-C PPS charger, which is sold separately; the box contains a USB-C cable. Pixelsnap magnetic wireless charging is Qi2.2 certified at up to 25W. The phone is IP68 rated for dust and water, launched with Android 17 and gets 7 years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates. It supports 5G and is unlocked, so it is not tied to a carrier.

What reviewers say

Reviewers call the Pixel 11 Pro a good phone but a small step up from the Pixel 10 Pro. Android Central found the camera upgrades notable and called Magic Capture one of the best camera features it has used, but said the $100+ price rise, less base RAM, low-frequency PWM display dimming and a GPU without the latest Vulkan support make it hard to recommend. Tom's Guide measured 2,860 nits peak brightness and sharper ultrawide and telephoto photos, but recorded 13 hours 25 minutes of battery life, less than the Pixel 10 Pro, and called performance weak next to Samsung and Apple. TechRadar reported all-day battery life and consistent everyday performance, scored the display 5/5, and found the HiLight light of little use.

Pros

  • Camera upgrades over the Pixel 10 Pro, with sharper ultrawide and telephoto photos (Android Central, Tom's Guide)
  • Magic Capture singled out as a standout camera feature (Android Central, TechRadar)
  • Very bright display: Tom's Guide measured 2,860 nits and TechRadar scored the display 5/5
  • Consistent, reliable everyday performance and all-day battery life in TechRadar's testing

Cons

  • Battery life no better than the Pixel 10 Pro: Tom's Guide measured 13h 25m against 13h 43m, and Android Central found wired charging slower
  • Tensor G6 still trails Samsung and Apple flagships in benchmarks, especially graphics (Tom's Guide, Android Central)
  • Display uses low-frequency PWM dimming, an issue for flicker-sensitive people (Android Central)
