It can run on its built-in rechargeable battery or connect to existing doorbell wiring and chimes, so it can work whether or not your home already has doorbell wiring in place.
Human detection is designed to alert you when a person is at the door, and activity zones let you focus on the area you care about. You can check live view and talk to visitors with two-way audio from an iPhone or Android phone. Footage is recorded locally instead of to the cloud, so there's no monthly fee for storage, and the doorbell works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
