The Midea MRT18D3BST is an 18.1 cu ft top-freezer refrigerator in stainless steel, built to work in a garage as well as a kitchen: it is rated to keep cooling steadily in surroundings from 38°F to 110°F, which standard refrigerators are not. That makes it a practical second fridge for a hot garage, or a straightforward main fridge for a smaller kitchen.
The 13 cu ft fresh-food section has three spill-proof glass shelves, two humidity-controlled crisper drawers and five clear door bins sized for gallon jugs, with LED lighting. The 5.1 cu ft freezer above is frost-free, so there is no manual defrosting, and it is ready for Midea's optional automatic ice maker (sold separately). Multi-flow cooling keeps conditions even, and it runs at a quiet 43 dBA.
The door is reversible to open from either side, and the recessed handles keep the front flush. It is ENERGY STAR certified at about 369 kWh a year and comes with a two-year limited warranty. It measures 29.7 in wide, 66.6 in tall and 30.7 in deep and weighs about 158 lb; delivery is to the door.
