The Google Pixel 11 Pro XL is a large-screen Android phone built with Gemini, Google's AI assistant, at its core. Gemini is there to help with day-to-day jobs such as looking up information, getting tasks done and working through new ideas, which can save you time jumping between apps.
Its 6.8-inch display refreshes at up to 120Hz and is rated for up to 3,600 nits of brightness, which helps keep it readable in bright conditions. The rear camera system includes a telephoto lens for zoomed-in shots, and the phone can record video in 8K.
This unlocked model comes with 256GB of storage in the Fog color and supports wireless charging. It suits Android users who want a large, bright screen, a dedicated telephoto lens and Google's AI features built into the phone.
What reviewers say
Reviewers rate the Pixel 11 Pro XL's camera among the best on Android and praise its very bright 6.8-inch display and clean software with long update support. However, many see it as a modest upgrade over the Pixel 10 Pro XL at a higher launch price, with less RAM in the base model. The Tensor G6 chip trails rival flagships in gaming and benchmarks, and battery and charging verdicts are mixed.
Pros
- Excellent, versatile camera system with strong zoom
- Very bright, vibrant display that holds up outdoors
- Clean software with seven years of updates
- Magnetic Pixelsnap support and fast wireless charging
Cons
- Modest upgrade at a higher launch price, with less base RAM than the Pixel 10 Pro XL
- Tensor G6 trails rivals in gaming and can run warm under heavy load
- Battery life and charging results vary from good to mediocre across reviews
