About the Apple iPhone 17 Pro
The iPhone 17 Pro is Apple's 2025 Pro model in the 6.3-inch size, listed here with 256GB of storage in Deep Blue, sold unlocked. It uses an aluminum unibody design with a Ceramic Shield 2 front and Ceramic Shield back, and its Super Retina XDR OLED display offers ProMotion up to 120Hz, an Always-On mode and up to 3000 nits outdoors.
The A19 Pro chip powers a camera system built around three 48MP Fusion cameras: Main, Ultra Wide and a 4x Telephoto that also delivers 8x optical-quality zoom. Video goes up to 4K Dolby Vision at 120 fps with ProRes RAW support, and the 18MP Center Stage front camera handles selfies and calls. Apple rates the battery for up to 33 hours of video playback, with MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging at up to 25W and a USB-C port with USB 3 speeds up to 10Gb/s.
It suits photographers, video creators and anyone who wants longer zoom reach and pro video tools in the smaller of Apple's two Pro sizes. It is rated IP68 and uses eSIM only.

Reviewers were largely positive about the iPhone 17 Pro, singling out its three 48MP cameras and longer zoom, fast A19 Pro performance helped by the aluminum unibody's heat handling, and strong battery life. The redesign split opinion, though: several found it heavier and thicker than the 16 Pro and noted the aluminum back scratches and chips more easily, while some felt the standard iPhone 17 offers much of the experience for considerably less.
