This Greenworks 40V cordless lawn mower pairs a 21-inch steel deck with self-propelled drive and a brushless motor. Greenworks says its SmartCut feature senses thick, tall or wet grass and sends more power to the blade, and push-button starting takes the pull cord out of the routine.
It's aimed at homeowners with lawns up to about half an acre, and it's straightforward enough for first-time mower owners. The 3-in-1 deck lets you mulch, bag or side discharge, and seven height positions cover cuts from 1-3/8 to 4-1/16 inches. Variable-speed self-propulsion handles most of the pushing, and the listing quotes up to 45 minutes of run time with the included battery.
