The Whirlpool WTW5057LW is a 4.7 cu ft top load washer in white with a 2-in-1 removable agitator. Leave the agitator in for the turnover of a traditional washer on everyday mixed loads, or lift it out to free up the drum for comforters, pillows and other bulky items, then drop it back in later.
A built-in water faucet above the drum lets you pre-wash stains or rinse out loose dirt before the cycle starts, and the Presoak option soaks and washes in one go. Deep Water Wash adds more water when needed; otherwise automatic load-size sensing sets the level. There are 12 cycles, including Heavy Duty, Bulky Items, Jeans, Active Wear and a Clean Washer cycle with affresh, plus Extra Rinse and a fabric softener option. The stainless steel drum will not chip, the glass lid closes slowly and locks during the cycle, and the controls are a knob and buttons.
It runs from a 120 V outlet and measures 27 3/4 in wide, 41 1/2 in tall and 27 in deep, with extra height needed for the lid. Delivery is to the door.
