What reviewers say
Reviewers rate the M4 MacBook Air highly as an everyday laptop, citing quick performance from a fanless design, battery life of around 15 hours in independent testing, and a standout webcam. On the downside, the design hasn't changed in a few years, the 60Hz screen can show glare, ports are limited and upgrades cost a lot.
Pros
- Fast, silent performance for everyday and creative work
- Long battery life in independent testing
- Bright, colorful display and a sharp 12MP webcam
- Comfortable keyboard
Cons
- Design largely unchanged from earlier models
- Only two USB-C ports plus MagSafe
- 60Hz screen with no anti-glare option; memory and storage upgrades are expensive
