About the Apple MacBook Neo 13-inch with A18 Pro Chip, 256GB – Blush
MacBook Neo is Apple's 13-inch laptop built around the A18 Pro chip. It's aimed at students and everyday users who want a Mac for schoolwork, research, streaming and creative projects. The aluminum design is built to be durable, and this model comes in a soft Blush color.
The 13-inch Liquid Retina display keeps text and photos crisp, and the six-core A18 Pro chip is paired with 8GB of memory and a 256GB SSD. Apple Intelligence features are built in, and the battery is rated at up to 16 hours, so it's designed to get through a day of classes or work. At 2.7 lb, it's easy to slip into a backpack and carry around campus.
It connects to accessories over USB-C. The laptop is Energy Star certified and EPEAT registered, and it's designed to work smoothly alongside an iPad if you already use Apple devices for study or work. For anyone who wants a straightforward, colorful Mac for everyday tasks, from crunching numbers for a class to working on shared projects, the Neo is worth a look.
What reviewers say
Reviewers broadly see MacBook Neo as strong value for everyday use, praising its sturdy aluminum build, colorful design and A18 Pro performance for browsing, schoolwork and casual games. Tom's Guide measured more than 13 hours of battery life in its test. The trade-offs they mention are the fixed 8GB of memory, fairly slow storage, no keyboard backlight and no Thunderbolt or MagSafe.
Pros

- Good everyday performance from the A18 Pro chip
- Long battery life in testing
- A 1080p webcam that's fine for video calls
Cons
- No backlit keyboard, no Thunderbolt and no MagSafe
- Storage is slow compared with other current Macs
- 8GB of memory is fixed and can't be upgraded
