About the Samsung 65" Class OLED S90H 4K Vision AI Smart TV (2026)
The Samsung OLED S90H is a 65-inch class 4K (3840 x 2160) OLED TV from Samsung's 2026 lineup. Its self-illuminating pixels produce deep blacks and high contrast, and Samsung's Glare Free screen is designed to reduce reflections in bright rooms. The NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor powers 4K AI Upscaling Pro, AI Motion Enhancer Pro for sports, Auto HDR Remastering and Color Booster Pro. The TV supports HDR10+ (Adaptive, Gaming and Advanced) under Samsung's OLED HDR+ branding and includes Filmmaker Mode.
For gaming, the S90H includes Samsung's Ultimate Gaming Pack: Motion Xcelerator 165Hz, NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. All four HDMI inputs accept 4K at up to 165Hz, alongside VRR, Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), HGiG, Game Bar and Samsung Gaming Hub. Samsung notes that 4K 165Hz requires a compatible PC game and graphics card.
Built-in 2.1-channel, 40W audio supports Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound Lite, with Active Voice Amplifier Pro, Adaptive Sound Pro, AI Sound Controller Pro and Q-Symphony for pairing with compatible Samsung sound devices. The TV runs Samsung's Tizen OS with Vision AI Companion, Bixby, Samsung TV Plus, SmartThings hub features, Apple AirPlay, Google Cast and Multi View, and Samsung says it is eligible for up to 7 years of OS updates (internet connection required).
Connections include four HDMI ports (with eARC), three USB-A ports, Ethernet, an optical digital audio output and an RF input, plus Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. The LaserSlim, bezel-less design is 1.57 inches deep without the stand, with a Graphite Black front and a 300 x 200 mm VESA pattern for wall mounting. The TV is ENERGY STAR certified.
What reviewers say
RTINGS bought and tested the 65-inch S90H and highlights its perfect blacks with no haloing, very good SDR peak brightness, outstanding reflection handling, wide viewing angles, very good upscaling, low input lag and a 165Hz refresh rate with an impressive set of gaming features. Its criticisms are very noticeable stutter in slow pans (a side effect of OLED's fast response time), no Dolby Vision or DTS audio support, very bright HDR scenes that can look a bit dim and some HDR color inaccuracy after calibration. Tom's Guide, which tested the 55-inch S90H, praised its accurate colors with the right settings, rich sound for built-in speakers, anti-glare screen and cutting-edge gaming features, but found the AI picture modes over-enhance some material and the setup process burdensome.
