About the Hisense 85" E7S QLED 4K Smart TV
The 85-inch E7 is Hisense's 2026 big-screen value model, pairing a Hi-QLED quantum-dot panel with a Mini-LED backlight and full-array local dimming, so bright highlights and dark areas are controlled in separate zones rather than lit as one. Hisense quotes peak brightness of up to 600 nits, depending on size, and the panel is native 144Hz.
It supports Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ Adaptive, HDR10 and HLG, with Filmmaker Mode for films as the director graded them and AI Picture that adjusts brightness, contrast and colour scene by scene. For gaming there is AMD FreeSync Premium, Game Booster 240, Dolby Vision Gaming and HDR10+ Gaming, with two HDMI 2.1 inputs for 4K at 144Hz alongside two HDMI 2.0 ports.
Fire TV is built in, with Alexa+ voice control through the included remote and the usual streaming apps. Sound comes from a 20W two-channel system with Dolby Atmos decoding. The set is about 74 inches wide and weighs around 66 lb, so plan the wall or stand before delivery.
