The TCL QM8K is the 2025 model in TCL's QM8 line of Mini-LED 4K smart TVs, shown here in a 98-inch size for large living rooms, basements and home theaters. It pairs a Mini-LED backlight with 4K resolution, which keeps the picture sharp even on a screen this large.

What reviewers say
RTINGS tested the 98-inch QM8K and found it an excellent TV, with exceptional brightness, deep and uniform blacks with little haloing, vibrant color and a long list of gaming features, including 4K at 144Hz and VRR. Tom's Guide praised its HDR brightness and color, and CNET its picture quality and minimal haloing. Drawbacks include a glossy screen that doesn't tame direct reflections, only two HDMI 2.1 ports, underwhelming audio, a so-so viewing angle and, per CNET, more input lag than the model it replaced.
